What's the stink all about?

Last weekend, I was up in Geneva, New York to celebrate a wedding. After a night of dancing (alas, by myself as the single lady gnomes were nowhere to be found), I spent the next day exploring the Finger Lakes region.

I attended the Garlic Festival and sampled many a pungent raw garlic clove and sated my appetite with garlic kettle corn and white wine.

Continuing the trend, I visited a local winery for a tasting. My distinguished palette must have been tainted by all the garlic, as I ended up buying several bottles of red wine despite the region's fame of white wines due to its terroir.

We have a Situation

I took respite from my busy work days for a long weekend at the Jersey Shore.

I was nervous about fitting in, as I am nowhere near as tan as JWoww nor have the blowout of Pauly D. I do, however, have fabulous abs and fist pumping ability. With my suitcase full of hairgel and bronzer, I made the drive up 95.

As it turns out, Long Beach Island is an idyllic town and I spent my days lounging by the pool and walking the beach.

I'll save my nightclubbing for my next visit!
